A cappella undergrads from Harvard University to be in tune and on beat for four performances at Equator Restaurant, August 28-31, 2007. And a one, and a two... The Harvard Krokodiloes, Harvard University's oldest and most prestigious a cappella singing group, has scheduled engagements at Caneel Bay, A Rosewood Resort on St. John, USVI, Tuesday, August 28 to Friday August 31, 2007. The harmoniously gifted undergrads, who tour the globe performing breathless renderings of jazz, swing and rock standards, will be on-hand for four evenings of charming dinner entertainment at Equator Restaurant. The Harvard Krokodiloes have been delighting audiences worldwide since 1946, including heads of state (U.S. Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and Bill Clinton among them), and luminaries such as Ella Fitzgerald, Princess Grace of Monaco and Lauren Bacall. They have performed several times on "The Tonight Show" and before sold-out audiences at Carnegie Hall in New York. They have also recorded 31 albums over the decades, and last year released their 60th Anniversary Album filled with tunes from current and past lineups, including the "Kroks" of '86, '75, '60 and '52. Tracks include Mack The Knife, Little Darlin', Stormy Weather and I've Got You Under My Skin.
